Having arrived during the mourning period for Fidel, Havana was quiet; upon returning near the end of the visit, it had come alive with music, dancing and Havana Rum in the streets, shops and cafes, anywhere and everywhere although both pedestrian and vehicular traffic were much more sparse than I expected. In addition to the vintage autos, the major highlight here was photographing ballerina models in a lovely old mansion. The night before departing we visited the famously boisterous and captivating Buena Vista Social Club performance. Enjoy!
