Keith Eisele and I took our wives on a short, hybrid vacation/photography trip in September 2019, visiting Bled and environs (where we made an impromptu quick foray into Austria), Piran and Ljubljana. We also made a day trip to Rovinjh, Croatia, as we have enjoyed that city multiple times before and it is only about thirty miles from Piran. We also drove through Trieste, Italy, but as it was extremely crowded with narrow streets and no parking, we decided not to stop.
While in Ljubljana, we had the pleasure of having dinner one evening with Slovenian photographer, Ana Pogacar, a long time friend.
