A young, energetic Vietnamese guide/photographer, Nam Tuan Nguyen, brought Keith Eisele and me to the far north so we could take photos in March, 2014, of Kinh, H'mong, Tay, Red Ziao, San Chi, Lo Lo, Pa Then, Thai, Mung, Dao Man, Black H'mong, Kho Mu and White Ziao ethnic minorities, some of whom do not speak Vietnamese, in and near Tinh Tuc, Bao Lac, Meo Vec, Dong Van, Ha Giang, Lung Cu, Truong Xuan, Mi Bac, Sapa, New Lai Chau, Nghia Lo and Duong Lam villages near the Chinese and Laotian borders.
