Keith Eisele and I traveled to Vietnam to spend a few days primarily photographing ethnic minorities in central Vietnam with Vietnam's premier photographer, Long Thanh. We visited Bana, Roman Bana and Jerai ethnic minority communities located in remote areas outside Kontum, not very far from the Laotian border. Afterwards, Keith and I traveled on our own to visit a Lat minority village outside of DaLat that, like Sa Pa in Vietnam's distant north, is beautifully suggestive of an Alpine village. We then journeyed to Hoi An and Hue for more "conventional" photography in these two picturesque locales.
